Don Strange - Guitar and Vocals
Maurice Bajcz - Keys, Bass and Vocals
Tim Kelly - Drums

Strange Monsters are a trio of temporarily embarrassed millionaires from Pittsburgh who also happen to perform indie rock music. Their sound is an amalgam of the best of bratty punk rockers like Dead Milkmen and classic rock bands like T.Rex and sometimes even Rush! It’s a very strange and very monstrous collaboration with ripping drums, low bitrate synths, and roaring guitars. The subject of their songs range from Optimus Prime’s overshadowed little brother, to discourses on contemporary conspiracy theories, to 20th century philosophical thought experiments. In other words, there’s something for everyone. Members include Don Strange (The Mastermind) on Guitar and Vocals; Mo Bajcz (The Mad Scientist) on Keys, Bass, and Vocals; and Tim Kelly (The Magician) on Drums and maybe sometimes Vocals. Strange Monsters have just released their first full-length album "Destory All" October 1, 2016 via PVR.

"Armed with a wickedly funny sense of sharp sarcastic humor, an endearingly battered, yet still resilient sensibility, and a sturdy knack for punchy pop-rock hooks, Pittsburgh-based singer/songwriter Don Strange takes the listener on an amusing, enjoyable, and even surprisingly moving ten song journey" - Jersey Beat, 2015

"Pittsburgh singer-songwriter Don Strange takes a typical indie rock song and turns it into something unique. Utilizing his background in creative writing, Strange pens clever lyrics, often layered with dark humor, taking cues from indie rock icons such as The Mountain Goats, Pavement, and Dead Milkmen." - WYEP, 2015

"..the album mixes the frank narrative songwriting of The Mountain Goats' John Darnielle with the bratty humor of the Dead Milkmen, Strange hits a catchy indie-rock sweet spot." - Pittsburgh City Paper, 2015
