Part one of this 2018 release, is the band’s 1987 EP “Faith Is Torn" featuring John Steele (Electric Frankenstein/High School Sweethearts) and London May (Samhain/Dag Nasty). The first four tracks were included on VOD III (2014, now out of print), but now with original artwork from 1987 by one time VOD bassist Bob Craig. What makes this edition “deluxe” is the inclusion of 4 unreleased tracks from a 1988 VOD session that haven’t been heard...ever! These songs were recorded, intending to be on a full length, titled VOD II, but the band broke up shortly after it’s recording. Same lineup as the “Faith Is Torn” sessions, but with Frank Nasta on the drums and Bob Craig on bass. The master mix down tapes were held since 1988 by VOD “phantom producer” Mike Delaglio, who had “turned knobs” and financed VOD during their few recording sessions and was never credited. After a somewhat lengthy legal battle, VOD gained control of the recordings, and here they are... in all their evil glory!
